Product Introduction
A reducer, also known as a reducing coupling, is a stainless steel pipe fitting designed to connect pipes of differing diameters within a piping system. Its primary function is to transition between larger and smaller pipe sizes while maintaining smooth fluid flow. There are two main types of reducers: concentric reducers, which have aligned centerlines at both ends and are commonly used for vertical piping where flow symmetry is important; and eccentric reducers, where one side is offset, making them ideal for horizontal lines where air pockets must be avoided or specific alignment is required.
